General

Is Radio Waves the right company for me?
Give us a call to find out how we can help you. We do our best to meet customer needs for jobs big and small all over the country whether its short term or long term. Examples of some of our current rental customers include film & tv crews, advertising agencies, event management, security solutions as well as community organisations.

How do I set up an account?
You can download an application form from our website. This can also be emailed, faxed or posted to you. The application form will inform you of the details we require.

Is there a charge if I lose or don’t return rental equipment?
Yes. All lost or unreturned equipment will incur replacement costs. A pricing list is available upon request.

Do you offer insurance on your rental equipment?
No. You will need to arrange your own personal or Company insurance.

Do you have other accessories available outside those in the rental kit?
Yes. These are available upon request & subject to availability

 

Mobile Phone Pricing

How am I billed?
Telecom call reports are issued around the 10th of each month. We will debit your credit card accordingly and post out a paid invoice and detailed call report.

Can you provide mobile number/s upon booking?
Yes, our staff are more than happy to provide numbers upon booking to pass onto colleagues, family and friends prior to your departure.

How do I return my phone?
Either deliver it back to our office address or advise us upon booking if you require a prepaid courier bag.

What happens if I return my phone earlier than agreed?
You will only be charged for the time used. Your contract will be amended accordingly to reflect this.

How quickly can you send me a phone?
We have phones fully charged and ready to go at all times.

Will voice mail be available on my rental phone?
Yes, voice mail is available on all of our phones. Voice mail access is $0.89 per minute.

 

Two-way radios (RTs)

How am I billed?
For customers with corporate accounts, we can post invoices upon return of equipment with a 30 day allowance to settle balance. Otherwise we can debit your credit card accordingly and post out a paid invoice.

How do I place an order?
Initially you will need to apply for an account or provide credit card details for billing purposes. You can place orders by email or phone. Please have the following details ready...

  • The number of RTs and the type of accessories you require
  • The date you would like to start using RTs and estimated date of return
  • Exact dates you intend to use the RTs
  • Job reference number and/or purchase order number if necessary.
  • Location(s) of intended use

We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment, especially with larger orders.
